Not just viewing
When viewing pictures you've taken, you'd often want to adjust one or two things that might improve their looks. Windows Photo Viewer is definitely not up to the task and also you wouldn't want to use a high end application for such menial tasks. Here is a pretty popular application that might be exactly what you need. IrfanView can be... Download

I'm probably not the only one who panicked a little when he started using the new and improved (read "dumbed down") Windows 8 interface. The only redeeming quality is that it did not abandon the desktop altogether. Besides having to open that blocky screen in order to search for something, you had to see it every time Windows was booted up.... Download

Who says that brain cells can't be grown? Mobile data traffic has increased the size of the world wide network by at least 100%. It was only natural that the established security providers have made the jump to mobilespace. Kaspersky follows the trend, bearing a large shield on your touch screen display. But despite the bravado it still has... Continue to app

Android on the big screen
I bet that you have fancied at least once the idea of displaying an Android app on your monitor. It's true that a phone's screen and even a tablet's screen may give a limiting sensation, but that's the compromise you need to make for the mobility it offers you. Yet there are quite a few Android apps that have no counterpart on the PC. So it was... Download

I'm sure everybody has witnessed an operating system perform slower and slower until they spend minutes just booting up. As it appears, operating systems are not as tidy as we might want them to be. We all know The system registry becomes clogged with data from long past and the task manager is starting to look like Santa Claus' present list... Download

Splat zombies using peas... again!
For those who were born yesterday and for those who missed reading the Galactic Trends magazine on your way to Earth, I must send this update: Plants vs. Zombies is the epitome of the Tower Defense genre of games. In my view, it has perfected this style of game by requiring much more participation from the part of the player than just placing... Continue to app

The fast and the reckless
I've often thought I could do better at Flappy Bird if would only had a bit of respite from time to time. You know, put down the phone, stretch a little, crack my knuckles and then get back in full force and avoid that tree stump. Well, today I was proved wrong. Today I stumbled across what I would hesitantly call a mix between Flappy Bird and... Continue to app
