Can you connect the dots? Flow Free is not about free flowing. I initially thought it to be some sort of Pipe Dream (I'm not sure whether the pun was intended). There is no time pressure in Flow Free though. A level consists of a square grid of varying size in which colored dots lay scattered about. They all come in pairs, and your job is to connect them.

That thing's still behind you! I remember not so long ago seeing the Temple Run logo displayed among other app icons on mobile store windows. It seemed like it was the latest anti-virus software or something. Of course, being me and actively ignoring hyped things, I manged to try Temple Run 2 after playing quite a few of the original's clones.
I can't say what this version...Continue to app
Candy Bash Droppa It's funny how how some games rise upon other games' shoulders. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's just that these viral casual games, such as Candy Crush Saga, needed a successful predecessor in order to refine the model and become all the rage a few years later.
Candy Crush Saga is a colorful game about matching candy pieces in order to...Continue to app
Run Sonic, Run! Sonic, the world's fastest hedgehog gets to star in his own cloned title. If you've read my last short article you'd remember me talking about the shoulder theory . Games that build on other games get to even higher success levels. Well, I'm here to debunk it. This model has only been successful in certain cases. In most cases though, the word...Continue to app
Clash of taps Clash of Clans is one of the most well known tap'em up games. I decided to coin this genre without ever bothering to search online. So as far as I know I am the initiator, although too bad for me that nobody knows my identity.
The obligatory rant
Tap'em Up games are made almost exclusively for the mobile platforms. These are games in which...Continue to app
Easiest customization I remember the old days of first generation data connection. Ringtones services were praying on unsuspecting people like wolves, charging money in exchange for a simple sound byte. However, with the advent of higher connection speeds and less handicapped phones, these practices became obsolete. But that doesn't mean that users will search...Continue to app
Hardcore By looking at Extreme Car Driving Simulator (that's a mouthful) I realized that to create a convincing driving simulator on Android seems to be a very hard thing to pull off. From what I've seen with GT Racing 2 , realistic looking cars can be fun to play with, but the varied limitations of the tablet medium makes realism less attractive on...Continue to app
A constant reminder How often do you find yourself taken by surprise by an event? You might have put a note in the calendar app but even so, that wasn't enough to prevent you planning something else instead. If you find yourself in this description or you just can't wait until Yule..I mean Christmas, installing a date countdown app might be a good idea.
Dreamdays...Continue to app
Cat from an egg I have avoided My Talking Tom like the plague. Simply because every time I saw that cat mug it reminded me of Five Nights at Freddy's . But as it turned out, this critter is less creepy when it is animated than what the game's icon suggests to me.
My Talking Schrodinger (because that's how I've chosen to name him) is a Tamagochi type game...Continue to app
Now I'm thirsty Fruit Ninja has been well on my radar for some years, yet I never was truly interested in trying it out. Today however I woke up realizing that I had installed it on my tablet last week while romping through the play store. So it's only fair to take a look at it. These days Fruit Ninja comes in two flavors, free and not free. Obviously I...Continue to app
